Gig in Paradise
Gig in ParadiseThe first part of this song resembles a peaceful place where you are just chilling, but then the PARTY begins as Mercalcú starts his great gig. This second part is only a solo with the same harmony over and over, becoming faster as time passes. It's usually quite funny to play.
145Introducing 145, song composed by myself that I personally enjoy a lot playing, mostly due to the highly energetic second part which only consists of a 4,5,1 chord loop with variations and a solo. I'm still not comfortable enough with that solo because for some reason I can't do really coherent things with it, but life is hard. This is my first recording trial with the audio interface I recently got (Presonus Audiobox USB96). The keyboard used for this is Yamaha Piaggero NP-32.
Magic SquareThis is one of the first themes that I composed and I actually liked. It is supposed to contain the essence of a specific square in Santander, Spain that was a magic place with colorful tingling round lights in the night. The piano is a little bit out of tune, but maybe that even creates a more magic atmosphere.
Intro + Clockwork World
Intro + Clockwork WorldOne of my own compositions which is also still a growing idea but has a more solid shape. This song starts with a peaceful intro and then embraces the terrible reality of the Clockwork World, where you can't escape from the enslavering system. This is also a test recorded during my practice sessions.
Lux AeternaThis is one of my own compositions, still in the category of "idea" and growing. This is one of the tests I usually do when I practice.
Tal Tal Heights [Piano]
Tal Tal Heights [Piano]This is a test of the best Link's Awakening song: Tal Tal Heights. Final bonus: Tumbao.
Camel - Aristillus [piano cover]
Camel - Aristillus [piano cover]Aristillus, the first track of Camel's masterpiece Moonmadness composed by Andrew Latimer and named after a Moon's crater. Quite curious song, I love it. I played left hand to sound, to my criteria, the most similar as possible to the original song: playing the C chord alternatively with all the 3+1 keys (1,3,5,8)and only the 2 middle keys (3,5). Recorded on a Yamaha piano from Cerdanyola's music school Aulos. Original song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_v4YbPdoSwY Video of the cover by me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRBKSSGK6zw
DJ Okawari - Peacock [piano cover]
DJ Okawari - Peacock [piano cover]Pretty good song from DJ Okawari that I use to play on piano. The impro part is still kind of tricky for me, though. This was recorded during one of my weekly piano practice sessions, on a Yamaha piano from Aulos Music School (Cerdanyola del Vallès). Original song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZaTEiqmWDY
Bright WaltzMe gusta mucho el Jazz Waltz y compuse ésto cuando intentaba reproducir Waltz for the Life Will Born, de Nujabes. Empecé a hacer cosas que me molaron y me olvidé de la canción que quería sacar xD
Composición 2Canción que hice para probar a componer algo que sonase rápido y en tonalidad mayor.
Composición 1Una cosa que compuse para piano.
