Hello, I'm Marino , a fifty-one-year-old amateur musician from Madrid. I really have little experience playing with people, I have a fairly modest training but I have a pretty good ear, I have a lot of learning capacity, above all I have a lot of capacity to learn songs and improvise on them, I have mmm a little jazz training, I am a person with, I think, a lot of musical ability, a lot of creativity, a lot of desire to do things, currently, even if it is a serious thing, I could go to another country, I think that on guitar, both piano and the Irish whistlet, I am capable of learning many songs and improvising on them, especially I think I can perform very well on stage as a rhythm guitarist as well as a lead guitarist, but I see myself more capable of the former. I don't have a very extensive training in blues piano, but I can also improvise and I can learn practically any song in the field of contemporary musicians, and I really think I know traditional Irish and Scottish music, I think I sometimes know more traditional and older songs than many Irish and Scottish people. Influencias
I'm not an expert in influences, I was born with music from the 60s, especially the 70s and 80s, when everything started to go wrong, haha. I've been greatly influenced by rock, symphonic rock, and Gaelic Celtic music. I know a lot of Gaelic Celtic songs, groups like Clannad, Capercaillie, Altan, and the Chieftains. In classical music, I know the best-known, but obviously Wagner, Romanticism, Bach. I've played piano quite a bit at a modest level. I would love to be able to transcribe or use counterpoint and more than two melodies in modern music. There are two projects that I've been wanting to do for a while, one of traditional Scottish-Irish music treated in a contemporary way, although my level is relatively modest, but I know it perfectly well. The other, well, a group of typical covers for events. Then, joining any band, we haven't done much, contemporary with a rock influence, and many other things where we could give free rein to our creativity.
